Heather Siefers

Heather Siefers is a seasoned professional in clinical biorepository operations, currently serving as Senior Manager at the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI) since October 2018, where oversight of biological specimen management and continuous improvement initiatives is emphasized. Prior roles include a similar position at Aeras since March 2012, as well as leadership positions at SeraCare Life Sciences, where responsibilities included strategic direction for bioservices and managing government contracts. With a strong foundation in microbiology and environmental biology, Heather holds a Master of Science from Hood College and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland, complemented by earlier studies in biology at Allegany College of Maryland.
