Alexandria Conway McIps

Alexandria Conway MCIPS is an experienced procurement professional with a robust background in the aerospace industry. Currently serving as the Director of Aircraft Specification & Procurement at AerCap since September 2016, Alexandria has held multiple roles including Senior Procurement Manager and Purchasing Manager. Previous experience includes a tenure at Spirit AeroSystems from December 2006 to August 2016, where responsibilities encompassed material planning and procurement for various aircraft programmes, managing expenditures exceeding £20 million. Prior to that, Alexandria worked at BAE Systems from May 2002 to December 2006, successfully managing projects that involved cost-saving transfers of Airbus packages and implementing lean manufacturing processes. Early career at British Aerospace involved significant contributions to cost reductions in production through process improvements. Alexandria holds a Professional Diploma in Procurement & Supply from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply and a BSc (Hons) in Quality Management & Technology from the University of the West of Scotland.
