Mingxin Xu

MINGXIN XU has extensive work experience in the aviation industry, starting in 2010 as an Assistant Aircraft Engineer at Aer Lingus. In this role, they gained experience in planning, engineering, and quality assurance, as well as performing line maintenance activities on Airbus A320 and A330 aircraft.

After working at Aer Lingus, MINGXIN XU moved on to Dublin Aerospace in 2012, where they held multiple roles. As a B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer, they performed maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Airbus A32x, A330, and Boeing 737 aircraft. They also served as a Zonal Leader, overseeing maintenance activities and ensuring compliance with regulations.

In 2019, MINGXIN XU joined Ryanair as a Maintenance Control specialist, supporting line maintenance operations and coordinating the rectification of aircraft defects. They later transitioned to Norwegian, first as a Technical Services Engineer, responsible for transferring and exporting aircraft within the Norwegian group. They then held the role of Technical Operations Manager, assisting with aircraft maintenance programs and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Most recently, MINGXIN XU worked at Flyr as an Aircraft Technical Consultant, specializing in CAMO Engineering. Currently, they are employed at AerCap as a Technical Support Manager.

MINGXIN XU earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Applied Computing for Technologists from Technological University Dublin. This program was undertaken from 2013 to 2016.

MINGXIN XU also obtained a Certificate in Business (Level 7) from the Institute of Technology, Carlow. This program was completed in 2014 and focused on Technical Aircraft Management.

Prior to that, MINGXIN XU completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Aircraft Systems from the Institute of Technology, Carlow. This degree was obtained from 2008 to 2011.

Furthermore, MINGXIN XU achieved an equivalent of Leaving Certificate from ZhongShan Private School in ShenYang, Liaoning Province, China. This credential was completed from 1998 to 2001.
