Scot Kennedy

Scot Kennedy is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the aviation finance sector. Currently serving as Vice President Legal at AerCap since May 2014, Scot previously held the position of Vice President & Corporate Counsel at International Lease Finance Corporation from January 2011 to May 2014. Prior legal experience includes serving as an Associate Attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP from October 2004 to January 2011 and as a Law Clerk to Senior Judge Procter R. Hug, Jr. at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit during 2003-2004. Scot is a veteran of the US Army, holding the rank of Captain with an honorable discharge after serving as Company Executive Officer/Platoon Leader from 1995 to 2000. Educational qualifications include a JD from the University of California, Davis - School of Law (2000-2003) and a BS in History from the United States Military Academy at West Point (1991-1995).
