Sorin Ivanescu

Sorin Ivanescu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in security and network operations. Currently serving as a Security Engagement Specialist at Adobe since March 2023, Sorin blends technical expertise with program management and effective customer communication. Previously held roles include Senior Manager of Cloud Security and Firewall & IDS Operations at Secureworks, overseeing global teams and service operations, and Manager at Infineon Technologies, leading an R&D team focused on DSS hardware projects. Sorin has also contributed significantly at Ericsson in various managerial capacities, ensuring operational integrity for CORE IP networks, and began their career in IP network solutions and customer support. Sorin holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
