Aaron Dence

Aaron Dence has extensive work experience in product management and related roles. Aaron currently works as a Senior Product Manager at Aero, starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior Product Manager at Kinsa from January 2021 to April 2022.

Before their roles in product management, Aaron worked as a Product Manager at Spatial from June 2019 to January 2021. Aaron also held the position of Product, Marketing, and Operations Manager at Collective from September 2018 to August 2019.

Earlier in their career, Aaron worked as a Product Manager at Relief Technologies Inc. from April 2018 to August 2018. Aaron served as the General Manager at Trainer San Francisco (Ovelay Fitness) from December 2014 to April 2018.

Aaron also has experience as a co-founder, including their role as co-founder of Sunny Side Up Press, where they were involved in product development, from December 2013 to December 2014. Aaron was also a co-founder and Product Manager at Shinobi Labs from June 2011 to August 2012.

Additionally, Aaron worked as a Product Marketing Manager at CoachMatic from June 2012 to September 2014 and as an Assistant General Manager at Equinox from April 2011 to June 2011.

Aaron Dence's education history includes the following:

In 1993, Aaron enrolled in East Carolina University where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology, with a premed focus. Aaron completed this program in 1997.

In 1997, Aaron participated in an internship at the University of Jyväskylä, where they focused on Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics.

In 2018, Aaron attended Stanford Continuing Studies for a brief period, during which they focused on Product Management for the Internet of Things (IoT).

In addition to their formal education, Aaron has obtained several certifications. In 2001, they obtained the Exercise Physiologist certification from the American College of Sports Medicine. In 2004, they completed the Executive Development Institute 12-month Program from the Department of YMCA University, earning a certificate. In 2018, Aaron obtained the Software Product Management (SPM®) Certificate from Product School, and also obtained Level II certification in Exercise is Medicine™ (EIM) from the American College of Sports Medicine.
