Mark Newton, MBA

Mark Newton, MBA has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing and digital media. Mark is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Aerospring Hydroponics since January 2021. Before this, Mark held various leadership positions at different companies. From August 2019 to December 2020, they worked as the Managing Director at iProspect. Prior to that, they were the General Manager in Singapore at Columbus Agency from May 2017 to January 2019. Mark also served as the Head of Media, Asia Pacific at DigitasLBi from September 2013 to January 2017. Mark has extensive experience in media and client management, as they held the role of Client Partner (APAC) at iProspect from May 2018 to January 2019, Media Director, Asia Pacific at POSSIBLE from December 2010 to August 2013, and as Managing Director at Qais Consulting from March 2009 to June 2010. Additionally, Mark has worked at Starcom as a Business Director from January 2005 to February 2007, at XM Asia Pacific as an Account Director in 2003, at Yahoo! as a Sales Manager from 2002 to 2003, and at DoubleClick as a Sales Director from 2000 to 2002.

Mark Newton, MBA completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in General Management from NBS Alumni Affairs, NTU in the years 2017-2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from Cal State Fullerton, College of Business and Economics from 1992-1996.

In addition to their formal education, Mark Newton has acquired a number of certifications to further enhance their skills and knowledge. These include the Venture Capital Executive Program from UC Berkeley Executive Education, obtained in June 2021, the Berkeley-Nanyang Advanced Management Program from Nanyang Business School, obtained in March 2018, Leading High Impact Teams from Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute, obtained in July 2017, and Excellence in Financial Leadership from Nanyang Business School at The Wharton School, obtained in March 2017.
