Dr. Mallikarjuna Rao

Dr. Mallikarjuna Rao is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in thermal design and development. Currently serving as the Lead Engineer at Aerostrovilos Energy since April 2022, Dr. Rao specializes in the aero-thermal design for micro gas turbines, including the creation of comprehensive design roadmaps. Prior to this role, Dr. Rao worked as a Senior Project Officer at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras from June 2020 to March 2021, where leadership of a team in innovative engineering projects was a key responsibility. Dr. Rao earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Thermal Turbo Machinery from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (2015-2021), and a Master’s degree in Thermal Power Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli (2011-2013).
