Jack Rickman

Jack Rickman is an experienced machine learning engineer currently employed at AeroVironment since February 2023. Prior to this role, Jack served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota, where research focused on the application of machine learning in cancer detection, leading to the development of advanced melanoma classifiers and involvement in multiple publications. Jack also held positions including Associate Computer Vision Engineer at Sentera, where pipelines for model training and inference were built, and as a Machine Learning Engineer at the Metropolitan Airports Commission, designing CNNs for aircraft noise classification. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Robotics and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, both from the University of Minnesota.
