Mark Curran

Mark Curran is a seasoned aerospace and engineering professional with extensive experience in aeromechanical engineering, design, and manufacturing. Currently serving as a Sr. Staff Aeromechanical Engineer at AeroVironment since November 2022, Mark previously held key leadership positions, including President and Sr. Engineer at Venturecomposite, and Sr. Design Engineer at Structural Integrity Engineering. Mark's notable achievements include leading aerospace design projects such as the A320 and A321 passenger-to-freighter conversion and managing a snowboard and skateboard manufacturing facility at Artifact Snowboards. Mark's foundational experience also includes work as a Special Effects, Miniature Model, and Set Builder at Warner Bros. Entertainment. Mark holds a Master’s in Automation Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Industrial Design from California State University, Northridge, and has pursued further education in Composite Airframe Structures at UCLA.
