Nestor J. Suarez Alfonso

Nestor J. Suarez Alfonso has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 2007. In 2009, they were a Ph.D. student at the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. In 2007, they were a research student at Philips Research Europe, where they developed an efficient software implementation of AES security algorithm for wireless sensor nodes. From 2013 to 2015, they were a software programmer at MundiAudit, S.L., where they were part of a team responsible for developing an integrated software system of audits management for the public sector. In 2014, they were an Android developer at Eseaforms (Canal Tonight S.L.), where they developed an Android application for Eseaforms platform. Since 2016, they have been the Chief Product Officer and Software Development Manager at Aervio, a start-up company developing a platform for complete business travel management integrated with IA tools and communication systems.

Nestor J. Suarez Alfonso has a diverse education history. In 2018-2019, they attended KeepCoding for a Big Data & Machine Learning Bootcamp in Ingeniería informática. From 2008-2012, they obtained a Master of Engineering in Telecommunications from the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, in Electrical Engineering. From 2006-2007, they attended the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Lastly, from 1989-2001, they obtained a BUP/COU (Bachelor's degree) in Ciencias puras (Science) from Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola. Additionally, they obtained a First Certificate in English (FCE) from the University of Cambridge in July 2009.
