Janet Alves

Janet Alves has worked as a Director of Compliance Programs at The AES Corporation since December 2021. Previously, they held the position of Director of Compliance at Vrio Corp. from February 2016 to December 2021. Before that, they worked as a Senior Regulatory Consultant at Verizon Business from April 2005 to June 2014. Janet also served as an International Contract Manager in the International Commercial Group at MCI from July 2000 to April 2005. Janet's work experience started in 1998 as an Analyst at the Investor Responsibility Research Center, where they worked until July 2000.

Janet Alves holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from George Mason University. Janet also has a Master's degree in International Affairs and Latin American Studies from The George Washington University.
