Alessandro Paoloni has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. From 2016 onwards, they worked for AESA - Agriconsulting Europe SA as the Head of Africa Department, where they supervised and managed the technical assistance projects in sustainable development fields. This included overseeing food security, regional integration, international trade, good governance, and natural resource management. Alessandro Paoloni's education history includes a mix of academic degrees and additional certifications. In 2001, they started their undergraduate studies at Università per Stranieri di Perugia, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Communication in 2005. Following that, from 2005 to 2008, they pursued a Master's degree in Communication Systems in International Relations at the same university. In 2008, Alessandro attended Il Sole 24 Ore Business School - Università La Sapienza Roma in Rome, Italy, where they completed a postgraduate course in the management of International Projects.

Aside from their academic achievements, Alessandro also obtained several certifications. In August 2013, they received a certification in Project Design, Monitoring and Evaluation from PM4DEV. Later, in December 2020, they acquired the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from the Project Management Institute. Additionally, in February 2021, Alessandro earned an edX Verified Certificate for Unlocking Investment and Finance in Emerging Markets and Developing Economies (EMDEs) from edX.
