Charlene Manuel has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Charlene started their career as a Public Relations Intern at W. W. Norton & Company, Inc. and New Line Cinema LLC in 2004. Charlene then worked as a Promotions Manager at CareerMD, a career platform for physicians. With Asia Society, Charlene held the positions of Marketing & Publications Associate and later Marketing & Publications Manager. Charlene then joined Nejla Productions as an Events Manager, managing logistics for various events. Charlene also worked at Seed Scientific, serving as Head of Marketing and Partnerships for Visualizing.org before becoming Marketing and Special Projects Manager. Next, they worked as an Events Manager at littleBits, where they successfully executed the grand opening of their retail store and managed an exhibitor booth at World Maker Faire. Charlene then provided multi-channel marketing strategies as a Marketing Strategist for various organizations. Currently, they hold leadership positions at the Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants (AESC), where they have served as Director, Global Marketing & Communications and Director of Education.
Charlene Manuel completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from New York University. Charlene then pursued further education at Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with concentrations in Business Analytics, Operations, and Product & Service Innovation. Additionally, they have earned certifications in Hogan Assessment, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and Marketing Strategy from Hogan Assessments, Star 6 Sigma Global Academy, and Cornell University, respectively.
