Sharmin Sadoughi

SVP Strategic Operations & Business Operations at aescape

Sharmin Sadoughi has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Sharmin is currently the VP of Strategic Operations at aescape since September 2022. Prior to this, they held the same role at Tonal from November 2017 to March 2022.

Before joining Tonal, Sharmin worked at Fitbit as a Program Management| Technology Development Manager from November 2015 to April 2017.

Sharmin also served as a Program Management- Consumer products at Dolby Laboratories from May 2013 to November 2015, where they defined program management processes and managed the development of high-volume consumer electronics.

Sharmin's earlier experience includes being a Sr. Program Manager- New Technology Development at Xilinx from July 2004 to 2012. Their responsibilities involved creating and implementing program management models for new technology development projects.

Lastly, they started their career at Cypress Semiconductor Corporation in 1996 as a Sr Staff Engineer- Technolgy Integration Manager. Sharmin managed new technology programs, integrated process modules for semiconductor technologies, and evaluated/purchased major capital equipment.

Sharmin Sadoughi earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Materials Science Engineering from Arizona State University, completing their studies between 1991 and 1995. In addition to their undergraduate degree, they also obtained several certifications. In 2008, Sharmin received a Certificate of Interior Design from the University of California, Santa Cruz. In 2010, they obtained the SAPM (Stanford Advanced Project Management) certification from Stanford University. Sharmin also holds a PMP (Program Management Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute, although the specific month of attainment is not provided. Most recently, in December 2019, they completed the AIARE 1 Avalanche Training course at Alpenglow Expeditions.
