Roby Menefee

Roby Menefee's work experience includes serving as the Head of Material Development at AesculaTech since September 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Material Design & Development Engineer at the same company from September 2019 to September 2020. Before joining AesculaTech, Menefee was a Graduate Research Assistant at Thompson Chemical Engineering Lab from June 2015 to June 2018. In this role, they focused on the preparation and characterization of smart polymers for occlusion of ocular trauma and contributed to a research article published in Science Translational Medicine. Menefee's earlier experience includes working as a Staff Assistant at Capital Educators from January 2012 to July 2013.

Roby Menefee has a strong educational background in the field of biomedical engineering and computational neuroscience. In 2017, they completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Southern California. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2017, they pursued dual Bachelor's degrees in Computational Neuroscience and Biomedical Engineering at the same university. Before attending the University of Southern California, they attended Sidwell Friends School from 2009 to 2013.

Apart from their formal education, Roby Menefee has also obtained a CFA Level 1 certification from the CFA Institute in August 2019. Roby achieved an impressive score, ranking in the top 10th percentile on their first attempt.
