Ari Virtanen

Ari Virtanen has extensive experience serving in board and executive roles. Ari is currently the Chairman of the Board for Verte Ltd, a platform company focused on developing bio- and circular economy business and innovations. Ari also serves as the Chairman of the Board for BGM Europe Ltd. In the past, they have served as the Interim Chief Operating Officer for Aesir Technologies, and as a Co-Founder and board member of Karugrid. Ari was also the CEO of Advion Solutions Ltd, a management service company, and has served on the Board of Directors for Kesla Oyj, Savosolar Oyj, and Proxion. Ari was also an Interim COO for Proxion Solutions Ltd., and worked as a Partner for Hallituspartnerit. Ari's expertise spans across various industries and they have contributed to the international development programs of the companies they have worked for.

Ari Virtanen earned an Engineer degree in Electric Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences of Satakunta in 1984. In 1997, they pursued an MBA in Marketing and Strategy Management from Henley Business School. Ari also holds several additional certifications such as a Certified Turn Around Management Consultant from the Turnaround Management Association, an Approved Board Member/Hyväksytty Hallituksen Jäsen from Tampere Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a Diploma of Coastal Navigation from The navigation association of Finland, and a Hallituksen puheenjohtaja/Chairman of the Board from Tampere Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
