Chery O'Malley, SPHR, has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Chery started their career in 1987 as a Store Manager at Toys R Us, where they oversaw HR functions, supervised staff, ensured cash security, and provided excellent customer service. Chery was also involved in training and store expansion. Chery then worked as a News and Feature Editor at Pickens Sentinel from 1989 to 1990, where they reported on local news, conducted interviews, wrote human interest stories, and assisted with newspaper page layouts. In 1991, they became an Office Administrator at JE Woodside & Co., where they managed office operations and accounting for a real estate business, and was responsible for investment tracking. In 1992, they took on the role of an Aerobics Instructor at YMCA until 2004. Their responsibilities included conducting aerobics classes. Chery joined aeSolutions in 1998 as a Talent Development Specialist. In this role, they developed, presented, and managed employee training and development programs, authored and managed policies and compliance, and conducted research and presentations for a wellness initiative. Chery O'Malley, SPHR, has a well-rounded background and expertise in various areas.

Chery O'Malley, SPHR holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations Journalism from Auburn University, which they obtained from 1983 to 1986. In January 2011, they also obtained the Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification from HRCI.
