Rob Ray

Rob Ray is an experienced talent acquisition professional currently serving as the Head of Talent at Aether since August 2025 and advising Syelo Ventures, a network connecting exceptional individuals with career opportunities, since October 2023. Previously, Rob held roles including Lead Technical Recruiter at Imbue, where the focus was on building a team for innovative AI technology, and Director of Recruiting at Astra. Additionally, Rob has experience as a Staff Recruiter at Tesla and a Recruiting Manager at Carbon, contributing to advancements in manufacturing. Earlier in the career, Rob co-founded Barbary Brix, LLC, a health-oriented candy company, and worked as a Customer Service Representative at CLUBWAKA and an engineering staffing sourcer at Google. Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Davis, and a culinary certificate from the California Culinary Academy.
