Dylan McClure

Dylan McClure is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Geologist at Aethon Energy since July 2017, Dylan focuses on development and exploitation in the East Texas/North Louisiana Haynesville and Mid-Bossier regions, as well as the Wyoming overthrust belt. Prior roles include geologist positions at Hunt Oil Company, where Dylan specialized in fractured carbonate development in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and at EXCO Resources, Inc., where responsibilities encompassed operations in the Eagle Ford, Haynesville/Bossier, and Marcellus regions. Early career experience includes an engineering technician role at Gyrodata and a geology internship at SandRidge Energy. Dylan holds a B.S. in Geology from Oklahoma State University and an M.S. in Geology from The University of Texas at Dallas.
