Mark A. McCaffrey

Mark A. McCaffrey is a seasoned geoscience professional with extensive experience in geochemistry and petroleum exploration. Currently serving as the Geoscience Manager of Interpretive Services at Stratum Reservoir since May 2019 and at Weatherford Laboratories since March 2010, McCaffrey leads a team specializing in petroleum geochemistry and geology to address complex challenges in oil and gas. Co-founder and former President of OilTracers LLC, McCaffrey authored over 250 technical reports focusing on exploration risk and reservoir analysis before its acquisition by Weatherford. McCaffrey's previous roles include Senior Research Geochemist at Atlantic Richfield and Research Geochemist at Chevron, working on significant projects across various global regions. McCaffrey holds a BA in Geology from Harvard University and a Ph.D. in Chemical Oceanography from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
