Russell Jewell

Russell Jewell is Head of Private Equity Funds at AEW, based in London. Russell joined AEW in 2011 and has 35 years of experience. He was formerly Head of Merrill Lynch's European Global Principle Investing Division (GPI), responsible for investing the firm's capital in a variety of value-add and opportunistic real estate equity and mezzanine positions. Formerly Partner with hedge fund Strategic Value Partners and Partner in European Real Estate platforms of both Jones Lang Wootton and Healey & Baker, Russell has completed over €6bn of real estate transactions cross Europe throughout market cycles. Russell has a degree in Urban Land Administration.
