Bernd Reichert

Bernd Reichert has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Bernd currently holds the position of Executive Vice President and Global Head of Customer Success at AEye, Inc., where they are responsible for global customer success with OEMs, Tier-1 partners, and industrial customers. Prior to AEye, they served as Senior Vice President of Automotive at the same company.

Before joining AEye, Reichert worked at Valeo, where they held various roles including Vice President of Sales and Business Development for Global Driving Assistance and Global Director of Sales and Business Development for the Driving Assistance Product Group.

Reichert also gained experience at Visteon Corporation, where they served as VP & GM of the German OEM Customer Group and MD of "Visteon Electronics Germany GmbH" after the acquisition of the Automotive Electronics Business from Johnson Controls.

At Johnson Controls, Reichert held multiple positions, including Vice President & General Manager of German OEMs, General Manager of the Global Customer Business Unit BMW, and General Manager of the BMW & Daimler CBU PG Electronics, among others. Bernd was responsible for managing all aspects of the business with German car manufacturers and achieving financial targets, quality, profit, and customer satisfaction.

Earlier in their career, Reichert worked at Borg Instruments AG as a Sales Director, with worldwide responsibility for sales and marketing, major customers including BMW, Daimler, VW/Audi, and more. Bernd also held positions at Valeo as a Key Account Manager for Electronics BMW & AUDI, and at Hein Engineering GmbH as Director of Sales and Marketing.

Reichert started their career at CMS GmbH as a Product Business Manager and authorized officer with procuration.

Bernd Reichert earned a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Elektrotechnik from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) between 1982 and 1989.
