Chief Executive Officer at AFC Energy

Adam Bond is the current Chief Executive Officer at AFC Energy. Prior to this, they were the President of Clean Energy at LINC ENERGY LTD from August 2011 to January 2015. Before that, they were the Project Director and Commercial Lead / Lead Negotiator for the British Government in the competitive procurement of the UK's first commercial scale carbon capture and storage demonstration project from May 2008 to July 2011. In this role, they led negotiations in the design and agreement of two Front End Engineering and Design Contracts undertaken by (i) a consortium consisting of Scottish Power / National Grid / Shell and (ii) E.ON as part of the project's procurement and oversaw the development of the unprecedented commercial arrangements for delivery of the project. Adam has a demonstrated history of success in developing and delivering complex clean energy projects and is a recognized expert in the field of carbon capture and storage.

Adam Bond has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Queensland. Adam also has a Master in Laws (Taxation) from UNSW. Adam is currently completing a Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School.
