Jack Matthews

Jack joined the Academy in 2016, in a part-time position, and assisted the Under 10 and 11 age groups before taking the Under 10 Head Coach role in 2018. Prior to joining Afc Wimbledon, Jack held roles at both Coerver Coaching and Barnet Football Club, as well as teaching in Further Education.

Since 2019 Jack has worked with us Full-time - for two seasons Jack oversaw the Foundation Phase, and stepped up to lead the Youth Phase for the 2021-22 season.

Jack now continues in this role - leading the Under 15/16 age groups and overseeing the Youth Phase - alongside working with our 1st and 2nd year pros in a dual role capacity as Under 23 Individual Player Development coach.
