Melissa Woodruff, CMP, CGMP, has a diverse background in event management. Melissa has held positions such as Director of Events at AFCEA International, Meeting and Event Manager at Maritz Global Events, and Special Events Manager at TechTrans International, Inc. Prior to these roles, they gained experience at DCG Communications, Association of the United States Army, Experient, Destination DC, and Marriott International in various event planning and management positions.
Melissa Woodruff, CMP, CGMP obtained their AA in Travel & Tourism Management from McIntosh College in 1998. In 2013, they earned their BA in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. Melissa also holds a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from Events Industry Council since 2012, and a Certified Government Meeting Professional (CGMP) certification from SGMP obtained in 2021.
