Dr. Hilary Okoeguale

Dr. Hilary Okoeguale serves as an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer at Afe Babalola University Nigeria since October 2014, and currently holds the position of Director at the ABUAD Law Clinic. Previous experience includes roles as a Researcher and Junior Researcher with the Open Society Foundations, and as Associate Legal Counsel at Steve Adebowale and Co. Additionally, Dr. Okoeguale has been Senior Legal Officer at the Justice Development and Peace Centre and contributed to law reforms as Secretary of the Criminal Procedure Law Reforms Committee in Ondo State. Academic qualifications include pursuing a PhD in Law and Democracy at Indiana University Bloomington, and previously obtaining a PhD in Criminal Justice from the University of Benin, as well as an LL.M in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Laws.
