Ghassan Mirdad

Ghassan Mirdad serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Arabian Drilling since March 2022 and holds the position of CEO-KSA at Katerra, a Silicon Valley high-tech construction firm, since September 2020. Additionally, Ghassan is the Founder and Non-Executive Director of AFKAR Ventures, focusing on energy technology in the MENA region. Past experiences include significant roles at Schlumberger, where Ghassan held various leadership positions over 24 years, including President of the Eastern Middle East and Vice President of Testing & Process for the Middle East & Asia. Ghassan has also contributed to advisory boards for organizations such as Abu Dhabi University and served on the Executive Committee and Awards Selection Committee for ADIPEC. Educational qualifications include a Masters in Leadership and Strategy from London Business School and a degree in Chemical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.
