Jake Pauley

Jake Pauley, FSA, is an experienced actuarial professional currently serving as the Manager of Valuation at Aflac since June 2016, overseeing a team focused on financial reporting for Aflac Group Insurance. Responsibilities include calculating items for GAAP and STAT income statements and balance sheets, performing Gross Premium Valuation and Cash Flow Testing, and supporting the Actuarial Opinion and Memorandum. Previously, Jake held multiple actuarial roles within Aflac, where achievements included significant improvements in model run times and comprehensive annual business planning projections. Jake also has a background in teaching as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Auburn University and gained diverse experience through internships in engineering, actuarial analysis, and maintenance service. A graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science, Jake holds the FSA designation.
