Anju Toopoo

Anju Toopoo started their work experience in 2006 at State Bank of India, Mauritius, where they served as the Manager Credit. Their primary responsibilities included the formulation, documentation, finalization, communication, and review of the bank's offshore credit, particularly corporate advances, syndication loans, buyers' credit, and working capital. Anju also effectively monitored and renewed/reviewed the credit portfolio while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in both local and international credit departments.

In 2009, Anju joined AfrAsia Bank Limited as a Relationship Manager Structured Trade& Syndication. Anju held this role until July 2023. Later, in October 2017, they were promoted to the position of Head of International Corporate (Asia) at the same company, where they continue to work.

Anju Toopoo attended the University of Mauritius from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a Bsc (Hons) degree in Finance with law.
