Mariam Hassan is a Public Health Fellow at Africa CDC. Mariam previously worked as an MBA Consultant at The Samfund from May 2016 to August 2016. Prior to that, they worked as a General Dentist at the Ministry of Health and Population of Egypt from January 2010 to December 2014. Mariam also served as the External Relations Coordinator at the Egyptian Medical Students' Association (EMSA) from January 2009 to December 2012.

Mariam Hassan has a Master of Business Administration from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, a Bridge Year Program from The American University in Cairo, a Public Health Diploma from High Institute of Public Health, and a Bachelor's degree in Dentistry from Alexandria University.
