Candace Cook

Candace Cook is a Research Assistant at the Africa Center for Strategic Studies. Prior to this role, Candace served as a Democracy, Human Rights & Labor/African Affairs Intern at the U.S. Department of State. Cook also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Naval Postgraduate School, an English as a Foreign Language Teacher at Jeongsang Language School, and the Director of the Annual International Children's Festival at THIS for Diplomats. Candace holds a Master of Arts in National Security Studies from California State University-San Bernardino and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Biola University.
