Associate Vice President, Operations And Settlement (finance) at Africa Finance

Oluwaseun Olurin, MSc. FCCA, CPA CGA, CIA, CISA has a strong background in finance and auditing. From 2013 to present, Olurin has been working at the Africa Finance Corporation, first as an Internal Auditor and currently as an Associate Vice President, Operations and Settlement (Finance). In these roles, Olurin has been responsible for assessing risks, evaluating controls, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Prior to joining Africa Finance Corporation, Olurin worked at KPMG Professional Services as a Senior - Associate from 2010 to 2013.

Oluwaseun Olurin completed a Master's Degree in Financial Management from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, Oluwaseun earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, from 2004 to 2008.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Oluwaseun has obtained various certifications throughout their career, including the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in 2021. Oluwaseun also holds the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc., obtained in December 2015. Other certifications include the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association and the PECB Certified ISO 27001 Lead Auditor from PECB, both earned in 2016. Oluwaseun is also an ACCA member, having obtained the certification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2013.

Furthermore, Oluwaseun has recently pursued further education and obtained the ESG Fundamentals Certification from Fitch Learning in 2023.
