Samuel Ayiro

Samuel Ayiro has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Samuel is currently working as the Talent Development Lead at Africa Practice, a position they started in 2023. Their previous role was at KCB Bank Group, where they served as the Head of Learning Development and Talent. During their time there, they designed and implemented various learning initiatives, including a Leadership Competency Framework and a development program for Branch Managers. Prior to that, Samuel held positions as a Learning Manager at both Standard Chartered Bank and Barclays. Samuel also worked as a Marketing Lecturer at Daystar University and KCA University. Samuel started their career at Cricket Wireless as a Lead Retention Representative and later held a Logistics Coordinator role at Safaricom PLC. Overall, their work experience demonstrates a strong background in talent development, learning management, and marketing.

Samuel Ayiro obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing and Business Administration from Daystar University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Samuel then pursued their MBA degree at Oral Roberts University from 2003 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Samuel has also obtained certifications such as Certified Emotional Intelligence Practitioner from Genos International and Certified Facilitator from DDI | Development Dimensions International. Samuel also holds a Diploma in Executive Coaching from AoEC - The Academy of Executive Coaching and an Integrated Talent Management Certificate from the Association for Talent Development (ATD).
