Macmillan Anyanwu is an experienced professional in development management with a robust background in leading operations for international financial institutions. Currently serving as the Country Manager for Mozambique (OIC) at the African Development Bank Group since March 2021, Macmillan oversees the country office's operations and engages with various stakeholders to implement the bank's Country Strategy Papers. Previously, Macmillan held multiple senior positions within the World Bank Group, including Country Manager for Timor-Leste and Malawi, and has been instrumental in managing complex portfolios and fostering strategic partnerships. Macmillan's career also includes roles at the Department for International Development and the International Finance Corporation, alongside a solid academic foundation in Public Policy and Management from The University of Manchester and an Executive Certificate from Harvard Kennedy School.
