Wiseman Vwala-Zikhole

Wiseman Vwala-zikhole has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Wiseman started their career as an Audit Trainee at Deloitte & Touche in 1998 and worked their way up to become an Audit Senior before leaving in 2002. Wiseman then worked as a Project Accountant at AfDB/UNDP/MALAWI GOVT- AID DEBT MANAGEMENT & GOVERNANCE PROJECT from 2002 to 2003. After that, they served as the National Liaison Unit Accountant at AfDB/MALAWI GOVERNMENT INTEGRATED RURAL WATER SUPPLY & SANITATION PROJECT FOR NTCHISI AND MZIMBA from 2003 to 2007. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as a Project Accountant at AFDB & MALAWI GOVERNMENT SMALLHOLDER CROP PRODUCTION AND MARKETING PROJECT. In 2009, they worked as a Financial Management Specialist at DFID/ National Commission of Science and Technology formerly known as National Research Council of Malawi. Wiseman also worked as an Associate Manager- Financial Advisory Services at AMG Global Malawi- Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors from 2006 to 2009. In 2009, they briefly worked as a Finance Expert at COMMON MARKET FOR EAST AND SOUTHERN AFRICA -COMEISA before joining African Development Bank (AfDB) as a Principal Disbursement Officer in 2010, where they are currently working.

Wiseman Vwala-zikhole completed a Master's Degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of London from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Strategic Management, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, and Ethics from the Management College of Southern Africa between 2003 and 2006. Wiseman also holds a degree from the Malawi College of Accountancy, where they pursued the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants- ACCA UK program, specializing in Accounting, Finance, Audit, Taxation, and Management from 1997 to 2000. Lastly, they obtained a Diploma in Laboratory Technology, specializing in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, from the University of Malawi- Polytechnic from 1993 to 1996.
