Swarup Giri

Swarup Giri is an experienced electrical engineering professional with a strong background in project management and operations. Currently serving as Project Manager at African Industries Group since December 2020, Swarup oversees a 132 KV Substation and a 10 MW Solar power plant. Previously, Swarup held the position of Manager-O&M at Jindal Steel & Power Ltd., managing a 220 KV Substation and central electrical maintenance from April 2015 to October 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Dy Manager Electrical Project at Jindal Power Limited, responsible for testing and commissioning of a 4X600 MW thermal power plant, and Engineer at Jindal Steel & Power Limited, focusing on basic engineering and project management for a 4X135 MW thermal power plant. Swarup holds a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Rajabazar Science College and a B.Sc in Physics honours from Scottish Church College.
