Virginia Nyikadzino

Product Manager | Learning Products at African Leadership Group

Virginia Nyikadzino has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. Virginia began their career as a Design Engineer at PCB International, where they were responsible for geotechnical design and structural detailing. In 2013, they took on a Field Engineer role at Princeton University, where they programmed and monitored sensors for an Eddy-Covariance tower and devised QC methods in Python to organize and consolidate high resolution (10Hz) data. In 2014, they moved to Southland Consulting Engineers as a Project Manager. In 2017, they joined the World Business Council for Sustainable Development as a Project Consultant, where they modelled waste disposal infrastructure for climate mitigation. In 2019, they worked as a Projects Engineer at the Infrastructure Development Bank of Zimbabwe (IDBZ). In 2020, they took on a Talent Acquisition Executive role at Deriv.com and a Dev | Product | IT Operations Recruiter role at One Acre Fund. Most recently, they began working at African Leadership Group in 2021 as a Product Manager | Talent Development, Product Specialist | Shortlisting and Placement, and Product Development Support | ALX- Software Engineering.

Virginia Nyikadzino obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University from 2007 to 2011. In October 2015, they became a Candidate Engineer certified by the Engineering Council of South Africa.
