African Plant Nutrition Institute (APNI)
Ivan Adolwa, Ph.D, is a Farming Systems Scientist at the African Plant Nutrition Institute since October 2020, where involvement includes strategic research for sustainable farming systems and field experiment analysis. Prior consultancy roles include advisory on the poultry value chain for Baib Oy Agritech Company, project liaison for the Kenya Agricultural Livestock Research Organization, and data analysis for the International Center for Tropical Agriculture. Ivan has conducted evaluations for the European Commission and has a solid academic background with a Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Kassel, complemented by master's and bachelor's degrees from the University of Nairobi.

The African Plant Nutrition Institute (APNI) is a newly created not-for-profit research and education organization. APNI currently has four offices. The headquarters is located at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in Benguérir, Morocco. Additional offices are located in Settat, Morocco (APNI North Africa Office), Nairobi, Kenya (APNI East and Southern Africa Office), and Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire (APNI West Africa Office).
