Chido Cleopatra Mpemba

Chido Cleopatra Mpemba serves as the Special Envoy on Youth to the African Union Chairperson & Cabinet since November 2021, focusing on policy advocacy and socio-economic development while engaging with various sectors and youth. Previously, Chido was a Global Taskforce Member at the World Economic Forum for a brief period in 2021 and contributed to program launch implementation in the Minister of Youth, Sports & Recreation's office. Chido held the position of Senior Manager in Retail Banking at Standard Chartered Bank from 2012 to 2019 and became a Certified Climate Reality Leader through the Climate Reality Project in 2018. Chido's educational background includes an MBA from Midlands State University and studies in leadership and design thinking at Dartmouth College, among other qualifications.
