Parvez Nayani is an experienced leader in academic and health projects in Afghanistan, currently serving as the Director of Academic Projects since November 2015 at Aga Khan University. In this role, Parvez Nayani is responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of Aga Khan University’s initiatives in Afghanistan, focusing on capacity building in nursing, midwifery, and postgraduate medical education in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health Afghanistan. Previously, Parvez Nayani held the position of Head of the Aga Khan University Program in Afghanistan from September 2009 to October 2015 and has been the Director for Academic Projects Afghanistan since September 2010. Parvez Nayani's experience also includes serving as Vice Chairman at Aga Khan Health Service Pakistan from 1999 to 2002. Parvez Nayani holds a Master's degree in Public Health from the Bloomberg School of Public Health, Johns Hopkins University.
