Afshan Ahmed currently serves as Assistant Manager for Mental Health Programs and Project Coordinator for the Hope for Life Program at the Aga Khan Development Network since May 2022. Prior experience includes working as a Livelihood & Emergency Assistant for the Balochistan Region at Muslim Hands Pakistan from June 2021 to May 2022, and roles at the Asian University for Women from May 2018 to April 2020 as a Resident Assistant and Teaching Assistant for the Foundations of Philosophy course. Afshan's internship at the Institute of Wellbeing Bangladesh in July 2018 complemented a strong educational background, which includes a Master's Degree in Development Studies from BRAC University and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from the Asian University for Women, following a High School Diploma from Public School and College Jutial Gilgit.
