Austin Walker

Austin Walker joined AgAmerica in November 2022 as the Director of Fund Finance. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science. He is also a CFA charterholder.

Upon graduating, Austin accepted a position with the mortgage insurance subsidiary of a global insurer, where he gained valuable insights at the intersection of insurance and banking. Austin then joined a leading digital bank where he held functional roles in Credit Risk, FP&A, and Balance Sheet Management.

In his role as Director of Fund Finance at AgAmerica, Austin oversees the growth and optimization of funding facilities. Growing up in rural Illinois, Austin witnessed the dedication and effort of farmers in his hometown and is proud to be a part of an organization that is helping support their financial wellbeing for years to come.
