Dalton Green joined the AgAmerica team in December 2021 as a Relationship Manager based in Georgia. Dalton’s extensive experience in agriculture began in first grade when he first showed livestock in 4-H. From then on, he has devoted his life to agriculture. His multitude of experiences have prepared him for this role as he builds relationships with farmers and ranchers.
Dalton obtained his BSA in Agriculture Education from the University of Georgia. He is currently pursuing an MSA in Agriculture Education from Oklahoma State University. He also holds the following certifications: Masters of Beef Advocacy, Beef Quality Assurance, AI Technician, and Georgia Educator. In addition to his education in agriculture, he also has rich experience in the industry through both working on a farm and being involved in agricultural organizations. Dalton enjoys raising registered Hereford cattle and freezer beef on his Georgia cattle ranch. In addition, he has worked as an Agricultural Risk Advisor, Undergraduate Researcher, Student-Teacher in Ag Education, and Consultant and Greenhouse Manager. Not only has he immersed himself in the work of agriculture, but he is also very involved in various agricultural organizations including the Georgia Cattlemen’s Association, Georgia Young Farmers Association, Walker County Farm Bureau, and the Georgia Hereford Association.
As a Relationship Manager serving Georgia, Dalton works one-on-one with farmers and ranchers to understand their goals and what they are looking for in a financial partner. He then uses his knowledge of the industry and AgAmerica’s products to build custom solutions that set them up for success.
