Elizabeth Alvarado, Ed.D., ACC, CMC, currently serves as an Executive Coach and Research Associate at AGB Search, LLC, and as a Consultant for the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges. Previously, Elizabeth held the role of Senior Advisor at the Business-Higher Education Forum and Engagement Manager at SIY Global. With extensive experience at the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges, Elizabeth progressed from Director to Associate Director of AGB Consulting, and served as Program Specialist in Board Leadership Services at the Association of Community College Trustees. Elizabeth's early career included positions as a Mentor at The Bergen Record Minorities Journalism Workshop, Communications Officer for the Grassroots Business Fund, Bilingual Writer at Nielson IAG, and Research and Communications Assistant at the United Nations Foundation. Elizabeth earned a Doctor of Education in Human and Organizational Learning from The George Washington University, a Master’s in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from New York University, and a Bachelor’s in Print Journalism and Latin American Studies from Syracuse University.
