Anas Al-Khawaja is a highly experienced scientist specializing in early-stage development and upstream process development for biologics, currently serving as Principal Scientist at AGC Biologics since June 2020. Al-Khawaja's expertise includes optimizing mammalian cell cultivation processes, designing experiments, and implementing large-scale cGMP manufacturing processes for clinical trials. Additionally, as a Course Coordinator and Guest Lecturer at the University of Copenhagen, Al-Khawaja contributes to the Master of Industrial Drug Development program, while also co-founding and managing an interpretation agency focused on high-quality deliverables. Al-Khawaja holds a PhD in Health and Medical Sciences from the University of Copenhagen and has an extensive background across multiple roles in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, including experience in digital content management and community pharmacy.
