Benjamin Kachel

Benjamin Kachel, PhD, is a scientist specializing in operational compliance production at AGC Biologics, beginning in January 2024. Previously, Benjamin Kachel served as a project leader and project collaborator at Steinbeis Transferzentrum an der Hochschule Mannheim from October 2020 to November 2022, focusing on the metabolic engineering of novel CO2-consuming microorganisms. Prior experience includes a PhD in Technical Microbiology from Heidelberg University, where research was conducted on Synechococcus sp. PCC 7002 for riboflavin production. Additional roles included student assistant positions in various companies, contributing to projects in protein analysis, method development, and marketing within the life sciences sector. Benjamin Kachel holds multiple degrees in molecular biotechnology from Heidelberg University and has recently completed a GMP project and process management certification.
