Maria J. B. Moura

Maria J. B. Moura is a seasoned professional with experience in project engineering and research within the fields of physics and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer at AGCO Corporation since April 2019, Maria manages projects focused on sensors and connectivity solutions for agricultural equipment. Previous roles include Senior Lab Test Engineer and positions in academia as a Math Adjunct Professor at Bethany College, where course content was developed for various student majors. Maria has also held research-focused roles at leading institutions such as IBM Research - Brazil and Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, executing and analyzing numerous experiments in microfluidics relevant to several industries. With a solid educational background, including a Ph.D. in Physics from The University of Texas at Austin and leadership training, Maria has contributed extensively to research and development, showcasing a combination of technical expertise and teaching capabilities.
