Chargé D Étude AEP Et Changement Climatique at agence de l'eau Adour-Garonne

Stephane Binet is an Expert Hydrogéologue at Agence de l'eau Adour-Garonne since June 2022. Prior to this role, Binet served as an Associate Professor at Université d'Orléans from 2007 to June 2022, focusing on topics such as water resource management, carbon cycling, karst formations, and peatlands. Binet's research experience includes a role as an Invited Researcher at CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique from 2013 to 2016, and a post as ATER at LGIT, Université Joseph Fourier from 2006 to 2007, specializing in unstable fractured slope hydrogeology. Binet completed a PhD at Université de Franche-Comté in 2006, examining long-term evolution markers in fractured mountain slopes, and holds an Habilitation à diriger des recherches from Université d'Orléans earned in 2018, as well as co-tutelle PhD credentials in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering from Politecnico di Torino. Binet obtained a Master's degree in Geology/Earth Science from Université de Franche-Comté in 2002.
