Emily Mitchell is a Statistician at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality since October 2015, following a role as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health from October 2013 to October 2015. Prior to that, Emily was a Doctoral Student at Emory University in the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics from August 2009 to September 2013, where Emily also completed a PhD in Biostatistics. Emily gained early experience as a Statistical Consulting Intern at Savannah River National Lab in the summer of 2010. Emily holds a BA in Mathematics and Religious Studies from the University of South Carolina, earned between 2004 and 2008.
